*Acceptance strength is not less than 2 1/2% below the nominal breaking strengths listed.
Note: These strengths apply only when a test is conducted with both ends fixed.
When in use, the strength of these ropes may be reduced if one end is free to rotate.
Blue Strand Rotation Resistant Ropes are available in a full range of sizes, grades
and constructions:
• Standard constructions for single part and multipart lifting.
• Special wire rope constructions for increased service life in particularly demanding
applications – DYFORM-18, Dyform 34LR and 35LS.
NOTE:
1. Swivels are not recommended for use with rotation resistant ropes.
2. Although B30 standards permit rotation resistant ropes to be used under certain
conditions at design factors of 3.5:1.
19 x 7 is a bright, IWRC, right regular wire rope. It may be ordered in diameters from 3/16” to 1 5/8”…EIP or IPS grade.
8 x 19 is a bright, IWRC, right regular lay wire rope. It may be ordered in diameters from 7/16” to 1 1/2”…EIP or IPS.
Dyform-18 is a bright, special grade, strand core, right regular lay wire rope. It may be ordered in diameters from 3/8” to 1 1/4”.
NOT FOR AIRCRAFT USE. (“Aircraft Cable” has become an accepted industry term for small diameter 7×7 and 7×19 construction wire rope intended for industrial and marine application.) Read important warnings and information.
WARNING: Any warranties, expressed or implied, concerning the use of this product apply only to the nominal strength of new, unused wire rope. All equipment using this product must be properly used and maintained. Wire rope must be properly stored, handled, used and maintained. Most importantly, wire rope must be regularly inspected during use. Damage, abuse or improper maintenance can cause rope failure. Consult the AISI Wire Rope Users Manual, ASME or ANSI Standards, before usage. Wire rope removal criteria are based on the use of steel sheaves. If synthetic sheaves are used, consult the sheave equipment manufacturer. WARNING!
WARNING: Prop 65: Products supplied by CERTEX USA may expose you to chemicals including Nickel, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information, visit to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
The dynafor® HHD is a complete and versatile handheld display.
Universal, the dynafor® HHD can be connected to our dynafor® Pro, dynafor® Expert and dynafor® Transmitter WL. Up to 4 units can be simultaneously connected.
Equipped with a colour-LED display, the dynaforTM HHD can reach a wireless range of 1,300 ft. (400 m). The dynaforTM HHD offers multiple functionalities, suitable to any application.
The dynarope® tension meter is a precision device for measuring forces in a tensioned cable or rope. The meter can be attached directly to the cable and has a fixed display.
When the tension meter is placed on a tensioned cable, the load cell will generate a signal which is more or less proportional to the force.
The HF 37 series can be connected to a PC for managing and storing measurement results.
There is a large variety of cables, each cable having its own characteristics such as composition, diameter, rigidity, density, etc. The database includes several basic wire rope data. We are happy to help you choose the right model and parameter settings in our wire rope database.
The dynarope® HF 36 is an electronic load cell that has been designed to measure the effort applied in a wire rope. The resulting signal is used in a digital remote display (model HF 87/T/LPT) controlled by a microprocessor, which corrects the force information according to the wire rope specification and displays the result of the measurement on a LCD display.
Several wire ropes specifications are logged in a data bank.
The dynasafe® HF 05 mechanical load cell has been designed to provide a trip point in lifting systems, which have a dead-end wire rope. The trip point load limiter generates an “all or nothing” type signal in the event the programmable target value is exceeded. Available in one or two thresholds versions.
The load cell is preferable for fitting applications where it is essential to minimize the lost headroom.
