In one recent collaboration, CERTEX and WireCo worked together to equip one of the largest crawler cranes on the planet—a Manitowoc 31000—with Casar Parafit crane ropes. Located in Phoenix, this massive machine is one of only two of its kind in the world, making rope performance critical.
WireCo also recently introduced Casar Ladleplast, designed specifically for demanding steel mill crane operations. With its high breaking load and superior resistance to crushing, Ladleplast is ideal for twin hoist systems handling molten materials. CERTEX and WireCo teamed up to supply this rope to Nucor Steel, upgrading hot ladle crane systems for improved performance and safety.
