Fall Protection Training

Not only is our Little Rock, AR staff competent in finding the suitable fall protection equipment for your needs, but we also have a team dedicated to offering training to local businesses. Our fall protection competent person training curriculum covers all areas of safety and procedure to ensure your crew is ready to handle any situation safely and efficiently.

Our training is not limited to textbook and virtual learning. Your crew can come to one of our state-of-the-art training facilities in Bakersfield CA or Tucson AZ, or we can host courses at your location so you can learn in the conditions you operate in.

We provide hands-on training via “Simulation Stations” so your crew can get a practical, real-world feel for the items they’ll have to deal with in the field. Students experience 8 hours of working with equipment from over 20 different manufacturers. The modern, climate-controlled environment creates ideal surroundings for learning and every course meets or exceeds applicable ANSI Z359, OSHA Sub Part M, CSA and Manufacturers requirements.

Rope

When the need arises for wire rope or synthetic rope, Little Rock industries turn to Certex. Lifting needs vary by project, so we offer both wire and synthetic rope such as AmSteel®-Blue and Stable Braid ropes.

Wire rope is made up of all independent parts – wires, strands and cores – that continuously interact with each other during service. Wire rope engineers design those parts in differing steel grades, finishes and a variety of constructions to attain the best balance of strength, abrasion resistance, crush resistance, bending fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance for each application.

If you need something lighter than wire rope, we specialize in AmSteel®-Blue and Stable Braid. AmSteel®-Blue is a torque-free, 12-strand single braid that yields the maximum in strength-to-weight ratio and, size-for-size, is the same strength as steel—yet it floats.

To ensure that your lifting devices are fully functional, we have a diverse selection of test beds, including one measuring 40 feet. It can accommodate loads of up to 100 metric tons.

Our complete inventory is available for you to peruse. If you need more information about a particular item, you can contact us, and one of our qualified associates will be glad to help.

When the safety of your workers is on the line, you can depend on us. Our products are of the highest quality, but they won’t break the bank. Plus, our staff is equipped to handle any situation and can train you to maximize your efficiency while minimizing risks.
